How to change/create Password for your user account in Windows..

Create/change the Password for your User account in Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8.

For Windows XP:

You need to logon to computer with an account that has the Administrator rights

1. Click on Start >> Click on Control Panel >> Click on User Accounts




2. Click on the User Account for which you want Create/Change the password

3. If you want to Create a new password, click on Create password or Click on Change Password option.


4. Type the New Password in the two boxes. 

5. If you want, you can create a Password Hit. 


6. Click on Change Password. 

7. Now you can restart/logoff and login with your New Password.


For Windows Vista and 7

1.  Press the keys "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" at a time on your Keyboard.

2. Click on the "Change Password" option on Lock Screen


3. Enter the current password that you are using in the First Box that asks for "Old Password"

4. Enter the "New Password" in the next two boxes and press Enter key  or click on the Arrow button.




For Windows 8 and 8.1

1. Press Windows key + W key at once on your Keyboard 

2. Type in "Password" in the "Search bar" 

3. Click on  "Change Your Password" option

4. On the PC Settings window, click  on "Change Your Password" option

5. Enter Current Password >>  Create "New Password"
