1. First you need to find out the current version of your BIOS.
2. Press "Windows key + R" at once >> Type "msinfo32" without the quotes >> Press Enter key..
3. You will find the "BIOS version" on the "System Information" window, just below the "Processor"
4. Go to the PC or Motherboard manufacturer website >> Check for any update.
5. If there is any update available, download the update file.
6. Make sure you have the uninterrupted power supply or Full battery charged for laptops.
7. Close all the opened documents and programs >> Run the downloaded "Update" file and install the update.
8. Restart the PC.
