Internet Explorer unable to connect to Internet due to Proxy server

You may not able to open websites in Internet Explorer and get a blank screen or some times it says proxy server. We need to disable the proxy setting in Internet Explorer in order to fix this issue.


1. Open Internet Explorer >> Click on "Tools" >> Click on "Internet Options" 

2. You will get the Internet Properties window, click on "Connections" tab >> Click on "LAN Settings" button


3. Then you will get the Local Area Network(LAN) Settings window.



4. Uncheck the boxes under "Proxy Server"  >> Click on "OK" >> Click on "OK". That's it. Now, you can open the websites.


 In some cases, even though we disabled the proxy server, it will come back again automatically.

6. If you are having such issues, simply right click on Internet Explorer >> Click on "Run as Administrator" option >> On the Internet Explorer click on "Tools" >> Click on "Internet Options" >> Click on "LAN Settings" button >> Uncheck the boxes under "Proxy Server"

7. That should fix it.

How to fix Certificate error while browsing..

You will get Certificate errors while browsing any secure websites. There are many reasons for this issue.



1. Main Reason for this issue is "Wrong Date & Time" on your computer.
Check the computer date & time and change it to the correct one.

2. Some times you may get this error due to virus.
Scan the PC and remove any virus found. How to scan PC .

3. Reset the Internet Explorer or any other browser that you are using.

Unable to see the pictures on Websites..

Some times you cannot see the pictures on websites. You will see  Red "X" in the place of Pictures on websites. Follow the simple fix for it.

1. All the thing you need to do is download the Registry file and Merge it in the Registry on your PC.

2. Click here to download the registry fix zip file.

3. Extract the files "pngasso_xp.reg", "pngasso_Vista.reg" and "png_fix_w7.reg" to your desktop.

4. For Windows XP -- >> Right click on pngasso_xp.reg >> Click on Merge

5. For Windows Vista and Windows 7 -- >> Right click on  pngasso_Vista.reg >> Click on Merge >> Click "Yes" >> Click "Continue", if prompted.

6. Restart the computer.

Internet Speed is Slow..

There are many reasons for slow Internet. There  might be a problem at your Internet Service Provider, Your PC might be infected or there is a downloading program running in the background like any torrent program or Download manager etc..

Follow the below steps to fond out what is the exact problem and how to fix it:

1. First thing is run a Speed Test (www.speedtest.net).

2. If the results shows that your Internet speed is less, then you need to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider)

3. If the results are good and showing maximum speed according to your bill plan, continue with the next steps.

4. Reset the Browser that you are using i.e Internet Explorer or Firefox or Google Chrome.

5. Download and run the Complete Internet Repair tool.


6. Select the boxes till Repair Internet Explorer and then select the option "Restore the default hosts file".

7. Click on "Go" button

8. It will ask for Restart. Restart the computer.

9. Your Internet should work fine now.

10. If you are still facing slow speed, restart the computer in to Safe mode with Networking and see how it is working in Safe mode with Networking.

11. If it is working fine in Safe mode, there might be virus or any downloading software running in the background.

12. Scan the PC with an antivirus ( You download Malwarebytes or HitmanPro tools from this blog)  and remove any virus detected.

13. Perform a Clean boot

14. If the Internet is working fine after the clean boot, then you need to check with selecting the options one by one in "msconfig" Services tab and restarting the PC to find out what is causing the issue.

Having Trouble with connecting to Wireless Network?

Are you facing issues with connecting to the Wireless Network from your computer? 
There are many reasons for that, you can follow the below steps and fix the wireless connectivity issues.


1. Check the wireless light status on your Router or Wireless modem.

2. If the Wireless light is glowing, then you are getting Wireless Connectivity. Now, you need to check with the PC settings and Services.

3. For Windows XP --> Click on Start >> Click on Run >> Type "services.msc" without the quotes in the Run box >> Press Enter key
   
4. Scroll down to the end of the Services page >> Right Click on the "Wireless Zero Configuration" Service >> Click on "Properties" >> Change the "Startup Type" to "Automatic" >> Click on "Start" button >> Click on OK.



For Windows Vista/7 or 8 ---> Click on Start >> Type "Services.msc" without the quotes in the "Search bar" >> Press Enter key

5. Make sure that the services "Network Connections", "Network List Service" and "WLAN AutoConfig" are running and set to "Automatic". 


6. You can go to the "Properties" of each service and change the Status and Startup Type.

7. Click on Start >> Type "Control" without the quotes in the Search bar and press Enter key.

8. Click on "Network and Internet" >> Click on "Manage Wireless Networks" >> Delete all the Wireless Networks from the list except your wireless network. If you can create your wireless network again, you can delete all the networks and create your network again.


9. Restart the computer and you should be able to connect to the Wireless now.

How to Fix Google Chrome problems by Resetting it to the default settings..

Google Chrome is not working? you can fix many problems with Google Chrome bt\y resetting it to the default Settings.

Follow the below steps:

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Click on the icon under the Close(X) button.
3. Click on "Settings" option
4. Scroll down to the end of the page 
5. Click on "Show Advanced Settings" option
6. Scroll down to the end of the page
7. Click on "Reset Browser Settings" button

8. Click on "Reset" button

9. Done

How to Reset Firefox Browser Settings to Default...

If you are having any issues with Firefox browser, you can reset the Firefox to it's default settings and fix the issues.

Perform the below steps to Reset the Firefox:

1. Close all the Firefox windows. 

2. For Windows XP, Click on Start >> Click on "Run" >> Type "Firefox -safe-mode" without the quotes and hit enter key and then go to Step4.

    For Windows Vista/7 or 8  Click on Start >> Type "Run"  without the quotes in the " Search bar " and hit enter key.


3. Type "Firefox -safe-mode" without the quotes in the Run box and hit enter key



4. Click on the "Reset Firefox" >> Click on "Reset Firefox" again >> Click on Finish.



Note** There are few other methods to Reset the Firefox. But I think this is the easiest way. In this way, you can reset the Firefox, even though you cannot open it.

How to Reset and Optimize Internet Explorer...

You can fix many issues related to Internet Explorer browser by clearing the browsing history and Resetting the settings to default.

Follow the below instructions to Reset the Internet Explorer:

Open Internet Explorer >> Click on Tools >> Click on Internet Options


Click on "Advanced" tab >> Click on Restore Advanced Settings button >> Then click on "Reset" button >> Click on "Reset" button again.



Click on the "Close" button >>Close the Internet Explorer and re open it.




If you are unable to open Internet Explorer to Reset, follow the below instructions to get the Internet Options window:

For Windows XP

Click on Start >> Click on "Run" >>Type "inetcpl.cpl" without quotes and hit enter

For Windows Vista/7 or 8

Click on Start  >> Type "inetcpl.cpl" without quotes in the "Search bar" and hit enter
